6. Price-Ringgold House

PRICE-RINGGOLD HOUSE

Dorothy Arters and Fred E. Thomas bought this house on Locust Street in 1887 from David Jones, owner, and builder. In 1904 the property was sold to Mary Ringgold and Thomas Ringgold Price. Marian Price Steuart, a founding member of the Kent Island Heritage Society, next lived in this house until her death in 1991.
